Oh, I didn't mean guess the song. I meant guess why it's in my brain. Which is because the current challenge for icon_style is titled "Windmills of Your Mind". 'cause it's about circles.

Actually, the Dusty Springfield version isn't my favourite, though I do like it better than Sting's version, which sounds like something sung in a sleazy lounge-bar. But his version is definitely not the worst -- googling for this song opened me up to some truly horrible ones.

Apropos to nothing, the most disturbing interpretation of a song I've discovered recently was Pat Boone singing "Stairway to Heaven" and "Paradise City" on this In a Metal Mood album. On iTunes. It's just wrong.

And how very cool that I now have a voice to put with the name.
