People all raved about this one, so I had high expectations. Pity. I might have enjoyed it more if my expectations were lower.

Frankly, I would have liked it a lot better without the gay smoochies, really. I was grooving with the angst, y'know, cuz The Real Captain Harkness was going to die, nobly. That was good enough. The smoochies ruined it for me. I think, even if it had been non-gay, I would have been annoyed at the smoochies, cuz, like, just met, y'know?

As for the mysterious Bilis, well, I guess we'll find out about that next episode.

I'm not watching the next episode yet, because it's getting late. But since every man and his dog said that "Captain Jack Harkness" was better than #13, then I don't expect it will be that great.

I'm starting to think that the only good episode in the entire season was "Everything Changes". Ah well, one more episode of Torchwood, and then I can look forward to Doctor Who, and see what they do with it. On the other hand, it could be another "Daleks Take Manhatten". We'll just have to wait and see.

There's nothing like watching a whole bunch of Torchwood episodes in a row, to erode and destroy all the euphoria I had from "Blink". Oh well.

The fact that in London, 1940 no one bats an eyelash at even the dancing kinda ruined the scene for me.

I liked the Tosh bits more than everything else personally.

And 13 does have focus on characters other than Gwen and Jack going for it. :)

I think I got a different version of this from everyone else, because when I saw it everyone else was frozen with shock, and I began to suspect that the real reason why Harkness died next day was that his homophobic colleagues sabotaged his plane...

Like I said, 'Captain Jack Harkness' is the best, however it is not up to Doctor Who standards.
The angst was good, i Think they just wanted to empasise the connection jack felt for his namesake. but i agree, the 'smoochies' did detract a bit from the story.
And Surely the wouldn't have been able to dance together in the 1940's. That really irked me.
