Parkman and HRG make a great team - yay! And yay for HRG for being clever. But... New York? Why am I not surprised? There had to be something that got Ted into the vicinity.
Ah, I was right, Linderman is the paymaster for the Company!
Linderman... (shudder). I don't know whether to be more appalled if he's sincere or whether he's a master manipulator. If he's sincere, he fell into the trap of thinking of the Big Picture, and that the end justifies the means. The delusion with that kind of thinking is that one never actually reaches the End.
I hate Candice.
Oh no, Isaac is dead! Mind you, the timeline seems to be a little different; in the original timeline, which Hiro went to, and found Isaac's body, it was Nov 8th, the same day that the city went boom. And I don't think the body had been lying there for a week.
Perhaps in the original timeline, Sylar had gotten to other people before he did Isaac, wheras here he went straight to Isaac because that was the only data he found.
What had Isaac painted -- or drawn -- that he thought would stop Sylar?
And it was really creepy the way that Sylar painted the same image of Nathan Petrelli in the White House.
I feel like we're all DOOMED!
What is certain about the two different timelines is that if Sylar got to Claire, he would have been unstoppable because he would be unkillable. Instead, it's Peter who is unkillable. But it doesn't seem to have been enough, yet, to stop the DOOM.
Yay for Claire saving Peter! Yay Claire-Peter bonding! I was wondering if anyone had taken the glass out of his head. I was thinking "No, he can't be dead! They just have to take the glass out, don't they? Maybe they already took the glass out and he really is dead." Then Claire took it out. Why didn't any of the others do that? Well I suppose Mohinder didn't know it would have helped, he just assumed that dead is dead. And of course the others knew even less. Whereas Claire had personal experience that having a hole in your head wasn't a permanent problem.
Thing is, nobody actually knows who the exploding man is. It could be Ted, it could be Peter, or it could be Sylar.
Hiro meets Hiro -- whoa!

Oh, but I can say this!
I'm sure you'll be shocked to learn that I want to write Peter & Nathan & Claire family bonding fic. (She says sarcastically.:)
Well, maybe a little, as the trend in question has (mostly) stayed out of my TP & Dr. Who fic... :)

Date: 2007-05-08 04:48 am (UTC)Yeah, but TP and Doctor Who don't have long lost relatives finding each other and someone as nice as Peter... (I was going to say "cuddly" but that adjective belongs to Hiro...) (grin)
