Heroes episode 4
Apr. 22nd, 2007 01:43 pmMore speculation..
Okay, so the Black Guy With The Symbol is working in cahoots with HRG. And Matt is in Big Trouble. I don't think they're going to kill him, though -- that would cause more trouble. What I suspect that they'll do is either (a) wipe his memory or (b) take away his powers(*). Or both.
I suspect that the Sekrit Organization is the kind that perceive super-powers to be a threat, that speak in cold-sounding words like "neutralize". A paternalistic, conservative organization that despises freedom and individuality, squashing them in the name of the "greater good". HRG definitely sounds like a "greater good" sort of guy.
Sorry, I can't respect any kind of group that drugs and kidnaps people.
Sylar, on the other hand, is just a complete and utter psycho.
(*) Note that if they take away his powers, then, as
vilakins said, they are like comic-book powers and not real ones.
And I shall be quite cross; I like Matt.
Okay, so Pete's powers are, as
vilakins said, a bit more complicated. A bit hard to control powers that are, er, that erratic, so to speak.
As soon as Clare asked if she could drive, I suspected some car-terror would be going on, though I wasn't really sure that she would crash the car, though I wasn't surprised that she did. Blood for blood. Not sure how she's going to get away with it, though.
Interesting about the not-Nikki; she seems to be a totally ruthless being without conscience, who is only interested in one thing: survival. And we have another instance of the Funky Symbol.
(Note to self: make Hiro icon)
ETA: Please don't spoil me for episodes I haven't seen yet.

Date: 2007-04-22 04:57 am (UTC)I was certain that Clare would crash the car and rather hoped it would be more effective. The outcome is satisfying though. :-)
A Hiro icon! I may have to do one too, love him as I do, but I might do mine in comic-book style.
