Ah, that's curious, because I'd been thinking about Necessity this week, and reminding myself I must go back and reread it so that I could make comments. Which I'd better do before I read your comments.

Yes, my previous DVD commentary was just in bold, but this time I used CSS properly, with a class="dvd", and then I just kept on tweaking the style until I got something I was happy with.

Yep, it's all hands to the remix. I'm up to 700 words now...

Oh dang! I knew there was something I'd forgotten to go back and fix...I read the commentary when you first put it up, and tried twice to leave you comments. LJ was being stupid and not letting me post on anyone's journal, and I forgot to come back and try again in a day or two. :-( I'll be back later to leave you something proper--I just got to work.

OK, kinda wiped, but I have vague memories of Romana II actually swimming in a 4th doctor episode, so yeah, canon!pool.

I really like the way you set this up, with the colored boxes of commentary interspersing the text. Lovely.

Despite the fact that I generally don't go for episode-fixes, this is one of the more fascinating AUs I've read, because I do think that Rose has learned enough persistence from the Doctor to figure out and do whatever it takes to figure out how to save him. And you give us the details to watch that further growth.

The base was a tomb where van Statten despoiled the corpses of dreams.

*shiver* That's a better description than most of the stuff in the actual fic. Wow. That's exactly what it was.

It's great that you have someone like your friend Jonathan to bounce ideas off of. Those sorts of people make our work the best it can become.
