I want everyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions, no more no less. Ask me anything you want. Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this allowing your friends (including myself) to ask you anything.

Date: 2004-04-14 04:15 am (UTC)What is the one thing that you would most like to do before you die that you have never, ever done?
Suppose you are right now, today, going to disappear from your current life and pop up somewhere else with a new identity. Where will you live, what will you call yourself, and what new career will you take up?

Date: 2004-04-14 05:10 am (UTC)Oooh, that's hard. Because if "making real" includes having them pop up in the here and now, that would be rather hard on the ones who come from rather far away, like the past or the future. I mean, if I picked Avon, he'd be rather grumpy about it, though I guess he would like not being on the most-wanted lists (yet). But I still have to admit that Avon was the first one I thought of. Why? Because I wanna give him a hug! Except that I'd be too terrified to. Even though he needs one.
Second choice would be Samurai Jack because he could probably cope with it fairly well. But I'm probably only thinking of him because I've been overdosing on SJ (you know why).

Hmmmm. (thinks about things that I've wanted to do and already done) Oh, that's easy. Meet you. Even though we will meet after we're both dead anyway...

What, you're going to drag me away from my life? What a scary thing to do!
Okay, assuming all the details are taken care of, like a witness protection program thing...
I'd be Katya Shona MacAndrew, live in British Columbia, and I'd study linguistics because I don't think I could make a living out of art (not that I'd make much of a living out of linguistics, but it would be interesting).

Date: 2004-04-15 04:07 am (UTC)I think he'd like it here. Once he adjusted to the idea, he has the brains to get along quite well here. Though I don't know that he'd thank one for existence at all. He'd also be first on my list to consider, though.
As for hugs, you might want to work up to that gradually. A nice pat on the arm would do for starters. ;-)
Oh, that's easy. Meet you.
Now, stop. You'll make my eyes leak, and then I'll rust.
What, you're going to drag me away from my life? What a scary thing to do!
Oh, dear. I was thinking of it more in the vein of giving you a blank slate, new opportunities. And I like the idea of you in B.C.; that's close enough for regular visits. :)

Date: 2004-04-14 05:40 am (UTC)Probably "Rumours of Death", it being Avoncentric, angsty, twisty, political, and did I mention angsty?
2. What's your biggest fan fiction pet peeve?
Probably whichever one I've most recently encountered. Which at the moment consists of not comprehending why people think that it makes one character look better if you bash the others. All that ends up doing for me as a reader is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. This sometimes happens when the author is Mary-Sueifying some canon character, and in order to make that character look better, they start pulling other characters down, either by exaggerating their faults, or making up faults that they don't cannonically have, or making a fault out of a virtue. (e.g. that Daniel is useless because he's an academic and not a warrior; that Blake is a reckless fanatic etc)
3. What have you been reading lately?
Well, today I just finished reading "Zelerod's Doom" by Jean Lorrah & Jacqueline Lichtenberg, the third in the Sime~Gen "Unity" trilogy (which recently came out as an omnibus). I'd read it before, back when it first came out, but my copy was given away in the Great Purge of 1990.
