My main desktop machine is back, almost none the worse for wear. It has a new motherboard, but the CPU is running a little hot, because the friend-of-a-friend who repaired it didn't have enough thermal paste, apparently. Oh well.

So now the GenFicCrit mailing list is back up again, though I suspect that nobody noticed its absence...

I have my sister, b-i-l and nephew staying with me, so things are busy.

I think the best present was the rain. We have had torrents of the stuff, on and off, since Friday. Halelujah! There was even a bit of hail yesterday.
