Character meme answers. BTW, nobody's yet given a question involving #12.

From [livejournal.com profile] izhilzha:

Servalan and Miles Vorkosigan, and Death of the Endless and Adam Newman, are paired up as two teams in a reality-tv style race around the world. Who is more likely to win, what would each team's catchy "tv name" be ("The Scientists," "The Lifelong Friends", etc), and what sort of mishaps might each pair get into along the way?

Depending on where they are in their lives, the Servalan + Miles team might be called "The Royals" (Supreme Empress Servalan and Lord Miles Vorkosigan) or "The Admiralty" (Supreme Commander Servalan and Admiral Naismith). The Death + Adam team would be called... (um....) "The Friendlies" because they're both so friendly (especially Death).
Death and Adam win, because Adam can teleport, and Death can go anywhere she needs to be. Except they wouldn't be able to use those abilities (even if they didn't care about people knowing) because the camera crew wouldn't be able to keep up with them. However, they would still have an unbeatable edge because they would also both understand the language wherever they were (since Adam is a telepath, and, like, Death knows everybody), so they could probably find things that they need pretty quickly. Against almost anyone else, Servalan and Miles would probably win, because they're both obsessed with winning, and Miles doesn't mind bending the rules and is extremely good at improvising, and Servalan would probably have him wrapped around her little finger in no time. On the other hand, if something happened which might impugn on Miles' honour, suddenly Servalan wouldn't find him pliable at all.

Mishaps: Servalan threatens to kill someone at least once. Servalan and Miles quarrel at one point, and separate. At one point Death and Adam appear in the wrong country, but at the right street name, because the directions said "Street" instead of "Road". But they quickly recover.

From [livejournal.com profile] astrogirl2:

What's Spock's worst recurring nightmare?

Vulcans don't have nightmares.

For some reason Death of the Endless writes fanfiction about Adam Newman. What's the story like, and what will Adam Newman think of it if they get to read it?

It's a very nice story, and it's in Morpheus's library.

Servalan buys Duncan Macleod a puppy. Is Duncan Macleod grateful? What do they name the puppy?

Duncan pretends to be grateful, but wonders why the President of the Federation would give him a puppy. They met at a state dinner. Duncan is very rich. Servalan wants his money and political support. Duncan names it Kristin, to remind him to be wary of beautiful women.

From [livejournal.com profile] linda_joyce:

Sarah Jane Smith, the Fifth Doctor, and Daniel Jackson go to see the theatre to see the Mousetrap. Which one works out whodunit before the end. Who goes to sleep 5 minutes into the play and who complains throughout that they should have gone else where.

The Fifth Doctor works it out, Daniel goes to sleep because he's been working so hard, and Sarah Jane complains.

The Master,Miles Vorkosigan,Sapphire and Treebeard form a musical group. What sort of music do they play and what instrument does each chose.

(chortle) I'm not sure you could call it a musical group...
Treebeard would sing entish songs and beat on his own trunk to keep time. This would completely not fit in with what the others were doing, and Treebeard would never turn up to practices because he wouldn't arrive until a couple of days later.
Miles and Sapphire would try to make a go of it anyway. Sapphire would sing. Miles would play the synthesizer, very enthusiastically with lots of programmed effects.
The Master would do the mixing, and would mix in subliminal hypnotic commands under the music, because, of course, it was part of his evil plan to take over the world.
However, Sapphire and Miles figure out what he is doing, and stop him.

From [livejournal.com profile] sallymn:

Grissom, Sarah Jane Smith, Death of the Endless, and Adam Newman are given a time machine; where would they go and how would they manage?

Death and Adam would manage excellently (see answer to race-around-the-world question). Sarah Jane would also manage pretty well, since she has experienced time travel before. They would take it in turns to chose the destination. Grissom would boggle at the machine and they would have to stop him from taking it apart. Grissom would want to go into the prehistoric jungle and look at the insects. They would go, but Sarah Jane would complain about the heat and the stinging insects and how it was ruining her shoes and she would stomp back into the time machine. Death and Adam would hang out, and Grissom would be as happy as a clam. After that, they would go to some famous historical event that Sarah Jane would want to see (no, I can't think of what right now). Adam would want to go into the future. Death wouldn't really care where they went, since she's going to see the future and she's seen the past already. But she'd enjoy wherever they went.

Grissom finds a mysterious magic door in his closet that opens out into any other fannish of Grissom's (it can be one of yours, but it must be one Grissom would choose) choice. What would he choose?

Grissom would find it rather difficult to believe that the door exists.
He'd probably pick Sherlock Holmes, if he had to pick something.

For extremely important world-saving but thankfully vague reasons... Death of the Endless has to talk Spock, Daniel Jackson and Grissom into disguising themselves as alien faerie folk at an intergalactic conference. Could Death do it, and how cute would they look?

Death probably could -- let's face it, both Spock and Daniel are into world-saving. And Grissom could probably be persuaded too.
Spock has the ears already. And they would look very cute.

Spock finds out Sapphire is a pod-person/shape-shifting alien. No one believes it. What would Spock do?

Sapphire probably came on the scene with Steel in order to mend a rift in time. But she's been taken over by an evil entity involved in the time rift, and Steel has gone missing. Spock tricks the entity into doing a mind-meld with him, and he rescues Sapphire, and together they rescue Steel, and all three of them banish the entity.

Servalan and Drusilla have to save the world. Are we doomed?

(snerk) Very, very, very doomed.
Even if they weren't the ones plotting to destroy the world, Drusilla would give Servalan cryptic instructions that Servalan wouldn't be able to make head nor tail of. Servalan would proceed to ignore Drusilla and use her minions to try to save the world (because you can't rule a world that's been annihilated). However, her minions would just get killed by the (supernatural) threat, and the world would be destroyed.

The Master and Treebeard have to create a 10-course feast from whatever is in their cupboards. Are the feasters doomed?

5 of the courses would be different kinds of water supplied by Treebeard. The Master has quite extensive cupboards in his TARDIS, but I don't actually know whether he's interested in food or not. If the Master could be bothered, he would probably cheat, using his TARDIS to go and buy whatever was needed, and come back five seconds later.

From [livejournal.com profile] vilakins:

What are Spock, Grissom, and Adam Newman grateful for?

Spock is glad to be alive, and he appreciates his friendships with Kirk and even with Bones.

Grissom is grateful that he can hear, that he has a fulfilling and useful and challenging job.

Adam is grateful that General Damon is a good guy, and that the Tomorrow People haven't been turned into lab rats (yet).

The Master and the Fifth Doctor swap places for a silly bet. What happens and how do they cope?

(splutters) Um, why on earth would they do that? They both cope badly. The Master tries for about five minutes to be nice, but Tegan is having none of it, and lays into him, so he kills her. Adric and Nyssa then attack him, and Adric gets killed in the struggle. But Nyssa manages to get hold of the tissue compression analyser, but can't bring herself to use it, since the Master is still wearing the body of her father. The Master knows this, and manages to get the weapon off her, and kills her too. He then goes off in the Doctor's TARDIS. The Doctor, meanwhile, finds it completely impossible to be evil, or even to pretend to be evil, and decides that the bet was silly and wants to call the whole thing off. He goes to where his TARDIS was, and finds it missing. He then goes back to the Master's TARDIS, trying to track the Master down. It takes him a while to get used to the controls (and deactivate the booby-traps), and by the time he does, the Master is long gone. But he finds the bodies of his companions and weeps for them. Then he goes off and has more adventures, using the Master's TARDIS.

Sarah Jane Smith applies for a job working for Miles Vorkosigan doing what Drusilla does for a living. How does the interview go?

What Drusilla does for a living? Um, okay, so Drusilla got her soul back and is working for the Dendarii Mercenaries, until she got blown up. Sarah Jane is applying for a job with the Dendarii mercenaries because she's trying to get a journalistic scoop, going undercover with mercenaries. But Miles wasn't born yesterday, and realizes what she's up to (besides, she could never be a replacement for Dru) so she fails the interview.

Aww, my swap question had such a tragic outcome. I'd love to see Sarah Jane with the Dendarii and dealing with Miles though.

Ooh, I really want to see Servalan and Drusilla trying to save the world. Also, Grissom and his closet. Good work, you!
