My camera is an Olympus 300u (that's actually not a "u" it's a "mju:" sign) 3.2 megapixel digital camera. I'm probably not using it to its full capacity, but it has a really nice "macro" setting for taking really close closeups of things like flowers, which is how I manage things like that dandelion.
Inspired by you, I took a picture of a flower in our garden the other day using the macro setting on my new camera. I got a much better result than I used to on my old one that was stolen, so something good came out of that. I may post it at some point.
