Let me second this rec. I poked through Multiverse fics today, and of the ones I read, this was definitely one of the best. Wonderful idea, lovely execution, and actual, plausible plot.

Although I like that one and felt the central idea was excellent, I felt it could have used a few tweaks here and there to avoid confusion.

eg. For someone not very familiar with the Vorkosigan stories, the fact that the emperor is called Piotr might not make them realise that he is Miles (but given his grandfather's name as he should have been). And people might also miss (if they don't know the universe) that Miles could not become Emperor because he was a mutant (and did not want it in any case).

There was another point which slipped by me, but I realized it afterwards -- that the "Piotr" who became Emperor was probably the Alt-Mark-clone.
