Art, day four

naarmamo day four.
Today was more photography, deliberately planned. I pass this building every day, it's on the same block where I work, and when I thought of bringing my camera to work, that was the first thing I thought of photographing. I took a number of photos today at lunch time.

There's something about the angle on the building that makes this picture for me. A flat wall would have been boring and a square corner ordinary. And it meets the point in the centre of the cloud in a satisfying manner.

Oh, I love that! The buildings are impressive, but you've brought nature in with the clouds and the delicate tracery of branches. Beautiful composition!

I was considering doing some photography too, but I no longer work near the building I'd love to take. White walls with a fire escape and interesting shadows from it in the afternoon.

Thank you! While I'd intended to take the building, I didn't realize that there was this nifty tree to frame it with until earlier this week when I looked up deliberately to see how the building might look if I took it from a steep angle, and there was this tree, which I hadn't noticed before! So when I actually was taking the photos, most of them I was trying for variations of having the tree branches in there too.

The cloud, though, that was God's timing. It was moving all the time I was taking the photos, so I kept taking lots because I didn't want to miss it.

Ah well, you could find something else to photograph.
