Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] mistraltoes.

So, say you were meeting a new person - blind date, new friend, who knows. And you wanted them to have some idea of what kind of person you are, and who you are. But you can't actually tell them in so many words. Instead, you have to give them a box, with a dozen things in it for them to ponder over.

What would you put in the box?

I'm assuming here that I'll get everything in the box back...

1) A copy of an issue of Refractions or Staked Blake (though one could consider that cheating a bit, since it does contain words by me)
2) the battered RSV Bible I've had since I was a teenager
3) "The Roar of Love" Second Chapter of Acts CD
4) a broken/cracked mirror
5) CD-box containing my Debian Linux discs
6) my old M.C. Escher calendar
7) "The Napoleon of Notting Hill" by G.K. Chesterton
8) my "fire" bead necklace + earrings set
9) since I wouldn't have time to make a compilation CD, I'd include a tape I made ages ago titled "SF Theme Strikes Back" which is a compilation of quotes from SF shows, SF themes, and matching music/songs. (I did three of these; guess which one this was?)
10) my "I am not expendable, I am not stupid and I'm not going" Avon T-shirt
11) "Blackie" my soft-toy black panther kitten
12) The DVD set of the most recent BBC version of "Pride and Predjudice"

That's not cheating, because it's not telling the person about yourself; they still have to draw conclusions about you without your guidance. And everybody I've seen do this meme has put some of their own writing in the box. Really, I think even one's diary would be a valid item, if one were the type to share one's diary with others. [Hm. Mistral looks around and notices that she is on LJ. Oops.]

4) a broken/cracked mirror

Oh, my, now that's interesting. Dare I ask what it's for?

I guess I don't understand the 'which one' question. Unless, noting the title, it was made up of Star Wars stuff?

Though I think we could assume you'd have time to make a compilation CD. Certainly I don't have my proposed CD lying about at the moment.
