Yay, Zen drabble! Thank you! And I do think that makes a great deal of sense as the original of his name.

It ties in with his never using the word "I" until the end. And I think the System wouldn't want to have an AI which thought of itself as a person. Thing is, Our Heros kept on treating it like a person...

I did have "the origin of Zen's name" in mind for the drabble all along, but I knew I had to rewatch Spacefall/Cygnus Alpha to get the context better, as well as looking up some definitions of "Zen" to see if I could get it to fit at all.

Because it does seem rather odd for such a cold, utilitarian place as the System to have given a computer a name like Zen...
