Because (a) you're my friend; (b) you're RL-safe; and (c) if I don't hear from you at least every two or three days, I start to worry, and LJ is an easy way to keep in touch.

"RL-safe"? I assume that translates to "Real Life safe" but I'm not sure what you mean by it.

It means I don't have to worry about the content in your posts being inappropriate if somebody underage or oversensitive reads my friendslist. Sort of like work-safe.
