From [livejournal.com profile] watervole:
Kerr Avon, Samurai Jack , Methos have a picnic. What do they pack in their hamper?

Well, since they'd probably all be wearing their weapons quite openly, they probably wouldn't pack them in their hamper. Hmmm.
Samurai Jack would pack Japanese rice handrolls. Methos would put in several bottles of beer. And Avon would put in a hight-tech portable micro-freezing container full of ice cream.

From [livejournal.com profile] lizamanynames:
So, how unlikely is it for Miles Vorkosigan to perform oral sex on Methos?

Not. Going. There.

Is Methos really that much sexier than Spock?

Not that much sexier, no, but still sexier. Sure they're both cryptic, enigmatic, thin, dark... but Methos has a sense of humour.

If Adam Newman had Methos alone in a room, what would happen?

Adam would sus that there was something odd about Methos, would figure out Methos' secret but wouldn't say anything. Methos would notice something odd about Adam, recognise that he was the same sort of advanced human as Tutankhamon (whom he knew) but wouldn't say anything.
They would get into a philisophical discussion which would wend its way into survival of the fittest and they would start talking about "hypothetical" situations which showed that they both knew each others secrets -- whether one would be more fit to survive if one could heal from anything, or if one could run away from anything. Methos would argue Adam to a standstill, not because he was necessarily right, but because he is much more experienced and wily. They would stare at each other in uncomfortable silence for a minute, and then Adam would forthrightly suggest that they stop pretending that it was all hypothetical, and that life was about more than survival, anyway.

Is it really true love between Kerr Avon and the Doctor? Could it ever be?

(eyeroll)

What the hell is wrong with Daniel Jackson?

He Ascended.

How would Spock die and how would he be remembered?

He already died, and he was remembered as a hero.

Cally, Jack O'Neill, Jim Ellison, Blair Sandburg, Sapphire, and Steel form a sports team. What sport do they play, and who else do they invite if they need more players?

They play chess because it's the only game that any of them have in common. Jim and Jack get bored and go off and go fishing together.

All 15 are together, facing certain death. It is not possible for all 15 to live, but through noble sacrifice of one or more, the others could. What happens? >:D

They live, because both Spock and Samurai Jack volunteer to sacrifice themselves.

OH! Please write it! I'm begging you.

In theory I could. However, it's your story. You've clearly got it all mapped out in your head already. And I've not yet been successful capturing Methos voice.

I can't think of any kind of circumstances in which Methos and Adam would be alone in a room together for any reasonable length of time,

Hmmm ... that is tricky. The jaunting abilities of the NS TP make a lot of plots difficult. Possibilities:
  • Adam is choosing to take a form of public transport for some reason (he's lost his powers, his powers have become unreliable, he's making a point, he has to arrive by train/boat/airplane to keep his secret).
  • Adam is forced to take a form a public transport for some reason (same list as above, different tone).
  • They meet in the lobby/waiting room of WorldEx while going to (possibly) separate appointments.
  • Adam is scouting the university at which Methos currently teaches/works, and Methos is assigned to show him around for the day, what with being the lowest senority grad student in the department.

This last one I like the best because a) it's fairly original, and b) it can create a lot of time for the two of them to be alone, but there's ample opportunity for interruption.

In American universities at least, it wouldn't be unusual for a coveted potential grad student or new faculty member to be courted in such a way. Where I work, potential new hires spend at least an entire day (7:30 am - 5:00 pm) visiting people, being shown around, and doing teaching demos and interviews. I know that at bigger schools, a multiple day interview is usually in order.

Since I've never been in or near a med school in any capacity except patient, I don't know what they do or don't do.

Mind you, if it were at a university, it would probably be an Australian one

    *nods

I started to write, and ultimately deleted a sentence, suggesting an Aussie uni because you'd be more familiar with how they work. The further advantage, as you said, is that Methos can go anywhere, and it already makes sense for Adam.

what else would Adam Newman be likely to study which Adam Pierson would also be studying/teaching?

    History is my gut response.

But, it could be just about anything with the right motivation. I could see both of them going into Genetics with the intent of sussing out their respective origins.

Whooops! I actually meant to delete that question from my stock question list before posting it to you (cause I know you don't like That Sort of Thing) and even added a question to the bottom I knew you would like (the all 15 one). Mea culpa. So sorry.

Hey now, I am not responsible for which two characters came up for that. That said, I am giggling. A lot.

    He Ascended.

*dies laughing* That works on (forgive the expression) so many levels...

I kept on saying "Ascension sucks!"

It really does, doesn't it? I don't know that much about Stargate, but I've seen enough to know that one.
