Multiverse Days Are Here Again

The Multiverse 2006 multiverse2004 assignments have gone out. As Penfold would say, "Oooh 'ek!"

One of the options, I would love to read a story based on this, but don't consider myself capable of writing it -- which is probably how the requester feels. The other two options leave me cold.
The other problem with the "attractive" option is that the first person I would have wanted to have picked the brains of about one of the characters in it -- is the person who made the request. Which means I am sunk.
