These are icons I made for dw_stillness and tardis_icons, with lots of rambling about same. (And then my browser crashed before I posted this, but, thank the Lord, LiveJournal had saved a draft of it, which I was able to access when I started up the browser again. Whew!)

	2nd Doctor: Must.. resist... spoilers This was done for dw_stillness challenge #3 (black-and-white episodes). It came first!!! I spent a lot of time on this one, tweaking and tweaking the background, the text, and the border. I knew it was always going to have a big "No!" in it, but the rest of the caption... well, I'm very glad the "must resist spoilers" came to me, is all. This was also very influenced by "The Elements of Graphic Design" which I happened to be reading at the time I made this. That's why the font is very plain, and the background is faint -- space, space and unity!
	9th Doctor + Rose: LOL (aka Laugh Out Loud) done for tardis_icons challenge #27 screencap challenge. This one came close on the "most creative" but the one which won was definitely better -- interestingly enough, this one and that one were the only two that got voted on in the "most creative" section! This one was a combination of two of the screencaps, you have no idea the amount of effort I went into to just get that arrangement, the cloning tool went into play for the Doctor's forhead, and the reason they are in a circle is because I had to hide the rest where they didn't fit! Then I started playing wildly with layers to get different effects, and I liked the "purple white-out" look so I went with that.
	Love is not blind "Love is not blind... Love is bound." Quote is from G.K. Chesterton. This was done for tardis_icons challenge #27, creative challenge #2 (pre-made crops). This won the "moderator's choice"! Probably for the quote, which I certainly like a lot better than the usual soppy thing you get when you get "hand clasp" images. And it sums up Doctor/Rose well, I think. Much effort went into this one, which is not seen; I was trying for a greyed-out-plus-coloured look, but one can't really see it. Oh well, another time.
	Jabe: Shine on Done for tardis_icons challenge #27, creative challenge #1 "light up"; one was supposed to use "light textures". This came third! I love Jabe. So I decided I'd do a Jabe icon. The "shine on" means more than one thing: one is that, depite dying in fire, Jabe shines on in our memories; another is a general enouragement to "shine on".
	10th Doctor: Merlin Done for the tardis_icons challenge #27, creative challenge #1 "light up" (to use light textures). (for those of you who came in late, yes, the Doctor has been referred to as "Merlin" in old-series canon) This image is actually from the Christmas Invasion, where the 10th Doctor is kneeling down holding the sword down in front of him, but what with my huge amount of manipulation to change the white pajamas dark, and the light hiding what it is that he's holding, it doesn't look like that any more.

Oh, I adore the Jabe one! And like the "spoiler" one a lot, too. That image just goes so amusingly well with the text. :)

The "spoiler" one is a very fitting image, since it comes from the episode about the Land of Fiction, and at that point, the Doctor is trying to fight off an illusion of the fictional Jamie and Zoe... 8-)

The no spoilers is brilliant! I like Jabe too. Not so keen on the rest, apart from Merlin.
