ToDo list for Today (and tomorrow)

• Work on my finish-a-thon story
  1. Revise the "speeding across the desert" scene (Wordcount: 10344)
  2. Re-watch the end of "Bad Wolf" and most of "Parting of the Ways"
  3. Procrastinate by burning a "soundtrack" CD to "get me in the mood".
  4. Write the "Why is the TARDIS here?" scene
  5. Write the "Let's make a deal" scene (Wordcount: 11255)
  6. Revise some earlier scenes to slip in two McGuffins that aizain and I figured out. (Wordcount: 11631)
  7. Decide not to slip in "humble wayside flower" reference.
  8. Write "let's make a plan" scene. (Wordcount: 12109)
  9. Write the first trip scene(s) (Wordcount: 13114)
  10. Write second trip scene(s) (Wordcount: 13389)
  11. Rewatch the end of "Parting of the Ways"
  12. Completely rewrite the last scene
• Don't forget to eat lunch
• Don't forget to have dinner
• Do some washing
• Unload the dishwasher, load it with dirty dishes, run it through
• Put away clothes
• Swap clothes in one wardrobe

And extra for Sunday:

• Eat breakfast
• Go to church
• Don't forget to each lunch
• Don't forget to eat dinner
• Don't forget to put out the trash

And I keep on adding new things too...

Still, I'm rather pleased; aizain and I had a huge brainstorm this afternoon, and refactored some of my plot; stuff that I was vague about has been pinned down and made logical. And the fun part is, every single McGuffin I'm using has already been used previously in Who. I didn't technobabble up anything, I just reused stuff in interesting ways.

And I may manage to mention something from every single 9th-Doctor adventure in this story. (evil smile) I've already got stuff(*) from "Rose", "The Unquiet Dead", "Aliens of London/World War Three", "Dalek", "Father's Day", "The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances", and "Boom Town", and of course I'm subverting "Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways" as the point of this story...
The only ones not yet with a mention are "The End of the World" and "The Long Game", and I could possibly use something from "The Long Game" but I'm not sure about "The End of the World".
