Doctoring the Browser

Well, this is all synaesthete7's fault, what with her raving about Scherzo I decided to have a look, realized that I actually do already own the first 8th Doctor+Charley story, so I decided to take a look, and then decided to start catching up, with the next three in the series (and a side track to "The One Doctor" because it sounded as if it would be fun). And then I find myself on the secure payments page, and my browser goes ga-ga (or maybe the page was ga-ga -- haven't these people heard of HTML-tidy?) and after much fruitless effort I finally managed to give them my credit card details after cutting and pasting the URL into a different browser altogether. (the unhappy browser was Mozilla 1.5, the happy browser was Opera)

I shouldn't have upgraded my mozilla. It is broken with fonts as well as being broken like it was today. But I don't want to go back to version 1.0, which is the only choice that Debian offers me. If I compile from source, then that messes up the Debian packaging, and it won't let me install galeon which depends on mozilla; though I can live without galeon, so maybe I will. But not today, it is too hot, and I have too many other things to do.

Easily Distractable

Yes, well instead of doing those other things I ought to be doing, I made myself a new LJ icon, because I was getting tired of how grim my default Avon looked, so I replaced him with a colour clipping of Avon and Cally. Because I like Avon and Cally. And when I'm not being INTJ (Avon) I'm being INFJ (Cally). Though mistraltoes insists Avon is INTP like her. Which he might be some days. (pokes out tongue).
