It will take a long time till I can get anywhere near as good as you.
Please to note that the Jack icon was the 61st icon I ever made. So that is how long it took me. Not to mention inspiration, which is given as a gift by the grace of God.

I've just joined the gimp_users community and am finding many things that I don't know, but also comforting to find newbies and things that I do know. It seems to be a good place to ask questions.

I think I'll join too, though I've so much more to learn. I found it easier teaching myself PSE2 and Fireworks (for one job) because it seemed more intuitive or perhaps standard. However I know the GIMP has the power of full PS and I've reached the limits of PSE2.
