Separate Iconage!

I have created a new "community" journal for me to post my LJ user-icons, it is here: ka_iconage. I'm currently posting the backlog of old stuff; some of the posts will be quite large (but don't worry, they're behind cuts).

Same as kerravonsen: an S2 style called Unearthed, but while my own journal uses the "Drinking DNA" theme, the ka_iconage uses the "Unveiled Metal" theme. I wanted something in more neutral colours like grey, so that icons would look better against it.

Why is it a community rather than another journal though?

Basically for my convenience. Not only does it save me logging in and logging out again (I don't really want to have two browsers running) but, more importantly, since I keep all my icons in the Scrapbook belonging to kerravonsen, it means I can use the "post to journal" facility of the Scrapbook to post to ka_iconage because it's a community (so I can just switch journals to post to when I'm posting) wheras if it was a separate journal, I wouldn't be able to post to it as kerravonsen, and thus I wouldn't be able to have that convenience.

Ahhh. That makes so much sense. I think you can make it so that others can't post if you want to.

You're right: the icons look really good against that colour.
