kerravonsen | Returning the King

Well, we saw The Return of the King today.

I didn't think there was too much fighting. However there was a lot of heroism. Death and glory, "wrath and the day's ending". "Forth Eorlingas!" Yay!
"I am not a man!" Yay!
"I'm glad you're here with me, Sam. Here at the end of all things." (sniff)

I think the character that got the worst treatment was Denethor. They put too much emphasis on his madness, and not enough on his nobility. In the book, he was supposed to be more impressive than Theoden, but he came across looking like... a merchant.

They left out tons of things of course. But it's pointless to quibble about what was left out, considering there was only so much time available.
