This here is the VOTING for the finish-a-thon! We have 27 participants -- whee!

For each participating author, first comes the descriptions of the unfinished stories they are putting up for vote, and then comes the poll for that author. Each poll refers to the story-number of the stories for that author. Note that some authors are happy for anyone to vote, and others the voting must be limited to their fellow participants. This preference is noted in each poll, please respect it. Remember, you can't vote for your own stories!
Apologies in advance for any mistakes on my part.

You can see them, it just takes a couple of extra steps. Click on your poll's number (a few lines above your voting box); then on the page that takes you to, click on 'View Poll Results'. That will show you the totals. If you want to see who voted for what, you can go one step further and click on 'View Answers' (right above the red result bars). HTH. :)

I only put up stories I was ready to work on. Unfortunately, after looking at who voted for what, I realize that in one of my descriptions I may have set up expectations that there's more substance (aka plot) to that story than actually exists. It's not the one that's leading, but it is gaining, and I admit to being a little trepidatious lest it win.

I think... (a) that since I know I'm not good at telling the difference, that I'd rather err on the side of serious, and (b) sometimes treating a joke as if it were serious is my way of teasing. With the above, I thought, "her remark is *probably* ironic, but what if it isn't? What if she's annoyed because I'm being cold-hearted? What if she really is quite worried?" Yeah, revealing what one wants to write is true -- though in my case, I'm glad to say that the one currently in the lead is one that I really want to write... and I now have nervous twitches in case some massive swing in the voting makes it no longer in the lead. Which is possible, considering the way some of the voting is swinging from one to another on some of the other polls. This is exciting!
