Well, I have completed another icon, though this one is different, because though it was by request, the person who requested it is not the person whom it is for...

Oh, that's quite beautiful :) I don't use icons (if and when I want to change my one and only, I have a feeling it'll be to another simple Svankmajer) but I do admire some of the lovely work you people do).

I've been meaning to ask for a long time: what is your icon?

It's from Svankmajer's Alice, which is my very favourite movie of all time (despite the fact that it's surreally disturbing, budgeted at rather less than a B7 episode, and in Czechoslovakian to boot). SBS showed it some years ago and I taped it and fell in love (I also bought a dubbed version, but prefer the subtitled Czech one). As I only use one icon (hell, I can only have three) I wanted to stick to something outside my specific fandoms...

A friend once described it to me as Alice with all the quaint English whimsy taken out, leaving the extreme weirdness.

I've seen it only once, but my favourite bit is with all the jumping socks.
