Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] watervole

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want, either good or bad. I promise not to come after you with a spatula, either way.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

I remember you inviting me to the GenFicCrit list, and me being surprised and pleased to find you'd been reccing and reviewing my fics there, even if the hoped-for discussion of same didn't really materialize.

I may be remembering this slightly or mostly wrong, however, as my memory is really shockingly bad.

For some strange reason, the words "You dropped it in the Thames" come to mind. Scott and [livejournal.com profile] romana3 on Tower Bridge were an entertaining site to behold. :)

I remember being assigned to write a story for your request in that B7 ficathon, so I wrote that Avon and Cally story and had a lot of fun! I also asked you some questions about "Howl's Moving Castle," and you gave me a lot of good info. (It's still on my reading list.)

Good question. When I get the book for one thing:-) I'm limping through my reading list with painful slowness but slowly recovering from the reading-phobia I acquired while getting my Ph.D. in literature.

I remember you wrote a very interesting post on Australian and American food differences, in which you denigrated my beloved Oreos. Though I believe that later on you found some Oreos which you liked. :)

Remember going to an American convention and ending up as a threesome with me and Mary O'Conner? The Brit, the Aussie and the Canadian? And the amazing cross-cultural converstions we had with the Americans one night at dinner? Comparing everything from school systems to different names for food.

I think the sketch was a skit on slash, with Cally mentally censoring the MC as he started to say it was really Avon/Cally.

I remember the wonderful feeling of finding out one of my stories had been nominated for an award.

I also remember very strongly supporting your arguments in your anti-slash rant as reasonable, even if I didn't share them.

And I remember the giddy joy of having a line from one of my own fics on an icon. :D

I remember the beautifully long response you wrote to my LoC on "Verity"--it was like having the DVD extras! :-)
