No, my house is still standing. But I have come to the end of my Season 1 DVDs of House M.D. and I am bereft! I am well and truly addicted. I don't think I've been so eager to watch a new series since I discovered VR.5. (I'm not sure whether New Who counts as a new series or not...)
And now I have run out of episodes. (sigh)
I gather they're showing Season 2 currently in the US, which probably means it will be another six months before they show it here, and another six months after that before it comes out on DVD. (sigh)

Date: 2005-10-05 09:09 pm (UTC)If you don't like shows where the main character is a sarcastic genius misanthrope, then you won't like House. The character of House would appeal to those who like Avon or Snape. Or maybe Jack or Rodney McKay.
I also like the medical-detection part of it, and the interaction with the rest of the cast.
I consider it rather ironic that Greg House gets compared to Sherlock Holmes, when Conon-Doyle got his inspiration for the character of Sherlock Holmes from a doctor...
