GIP Again!
Sep. 13th, 2005 08:29 pmIt's amazing how motivated one gets to make icons when (a) one has 100 slots to fill (b) one goes off and looks at other people's spiffing ideas. This one was inspired by a set of icons by
wingedfigment in
book_icons if I recall correctly. They were a bunch of icons with quotes from William Blake; one of which was the quote I used in this icon. Her icon was also a bee on a flower, but since I'd been taking all these photos of flowers (some of which had bees in them) I really wanted to make an icon from one of my Very Own photos (just like my "Creation" icon was done from one of my photos). So I did, from the one with the best bee. (grin)
Of course, I have no idea when I'd find the quote appropriate enough to use the icon for...
But I can see why this icon-making thing can be kind of addictive.
