Well, Multiverse 2005 has been up for a day. I got a nice story. There has been much reading of fic, which I will then forget to review because by the time the authors have been revealed, I will have forgotten what I wanted to say. Oh well, at least I've been sending feedback to the authors.

Which brings me to the whiny part of this post: nobody whatsoever has commented on my story at all. (whine whine whine)
Not even one single comment. I would have thought I'd get one comment at least. Maybe three comments if I was lucky. But not even one?
Not even a comment from the person I wrote the story for? C'mon, it can't have been that crappy!

Aww, it's entirely possible it hasn't been read much yet, especially if it's in less popular fandoms or far down the alphabetical list or something. I've only read a fraction of them yet, myself, and I spent too much time last night sneaking peeks when I was supposed to be working. :)

And I know someone last year who was unhappy about not even getting a response from the person they wrote for... Turned out said person was incommunicado for a couple of weeks or something. *shrug*

Well, so far I've only read the one that was the pinch-hitter for me and the one that was written for me (and commented on the latter). I'd read yours, but I can't since the authors are still hidden.

I haven't worked my way all the way down the list of fandoms yet - and some fandoms I AM skipping.

I'm actually a little wierded out that I got a response to my story BEFORE I knew multiverse was up yet - and it WASN'T from the person I wrote it for. I almost responded before I realized that e-mailing a response back would be a DEAD givaway to who wrote it, DUH...

I've been trying to leave responses to every story I read all the way through - some of them I find just not to my taste and give up on... (No power in the 'verse is going to make me sit through explicit Avon/Data porn, I'm sorry.)

I'm not, so much. Farscape seems to attract crossoverness... Unrealized Realities are a positive BOON in that department... plus there are TONS of very imaginative and "think outside the box" type fanfic writers in Farscape fandom, and it has facinating, complex, and very "breaking the mold" characetrs that invite being bounced off of other characters from other universes.
