Random Doctor Who Fact: Rose didn't do A-levels because she left school early, because of "Jimmy Stones" of whom it was only said "and look where he ended up!"

Yes, I've been rewatching 9th Doctor episodes; just saw "Rose" and "End of the World". Because I've been inspired by two particular remarks in the raft of DW discussion I read last week, and done a bunch of brainstorming with aizain and now need to Research to see whether certain things are feasible. Hence, my random fact above, which is not so random; I wanted to double-check whether Rose had or hadn't taken her A-levels or not.

I have written one paragraph only of the actual story; the first paragraph:

A miracle doesn't always happen in an instant. Sometimes it takes hard work, time and perseverance. When time is not bent, there is no Bad Wolf to set things right, only Rose.

Yeah, that's the whole story in a nutshell; but it should be fun getting there. Long journey, though.

Right now I'm torn between sitting down and rewatching the whole series in order (which will take time) or skipping ahead to view certain critical scenes first, in order to get the context for the opening scene, so I can actually write something while the inspiration is hot.

Of course, right now, I should be going to bed. 8-)

It was Jimmy Stones, not Jimmy Stewart. Though I can entirely understand leaving school for Jimmy Stewart. :D
