This was my [livejournal.com profile] badcliche ficathon story.

Title: Anaesthesia
Universe: Doctor Who
Length: 5000 words
Cliche: Amnesia, for [livejournal.com profile] astrogirl2
Rating: PG
Summary: To know, or not to know, that is the question.
9th Doctor, pre-"Rose", spoilers through to "Dalek"

Because this story is so long, I'm just linking to it from here: Anaesthesia.

The irony of it all is that [livejournal.com profile] astrogirl2 and got each others' requests, picked the same cliche to do, and did it for the same character!
Which just goes to show (a) great minds think alike (b) everyone has a different take.

And I beta-read both of them!

I might as well say it again here: brilliant plot, a wonderful OC in Elly (I can very much see why the Doctor would invite her to go with him), and I loved the None dialect--lovely bit of world-building.

I suppose that I could say that I gamma-read the story. :) It was a pleasure to read, and I especially liked the songs.

A missing episode is just what we need, when we have so few of the Ninth! Thank you. I love Elly and Vilka.

Wonderful! You nailed the ninth Doctor. Great plot and original characters. :)
