kerravonsen: Branch with leaves, a blue sky, clouds and a hint of a rainbow: Creation (Creation)

Argggh! I feel as if I have hit a creative wall with my (digital) art. Everything I have done for the past... week? ... I have looked at, felt totally indifferent to, scrapped, and started again at zero. I need something new, some new approach. Like what I did with my "Elements" series, that was a nice challenge, doing electron-shell diagrams as stained-glass windows. But I've done that now, I could do stained-glass windows in my sleep (not really), I want something new, but I don't have a clue as to what.

Help! Please, ideas? Techniques?

IIRC stained glass windows were originally intended to convey the Gospels to those who cud not read. What about thinking of stories that inspired you and thinking how to retell them a items of art.
Can you capture a SF convention asan artwork?
Or what about your own life story. What images or forms capture the key moments..?
sorry not sure if that is helpful.
When I've been stuck on a project a colleague reminded me of a story about St. Denis
some one remarking of how extraordinary the 6 mile journey was to which the reply was oh no the distance is nothing, its the first step that really counts.

I always have a problem. I struggle to write papers until I can get the abstract framed. But s the abstract is supposed to summarise the paper there is a chicken/egg problem. Sometimes iteration is unavoidable.
