Persephone was in the second movie. If I recall correctly, she was the wife of a villain. I don't see you in her at all, unless it's in being perversely willful... she betrayed him for a kiss, you see.
Oh, now isn't that fascinating. Yet another symbol. The Matrix is full of them...

Well, yes, I was thinking 'willfully perverse' but considering the context of the movie and that character, "perverse" wasn't a word I wished to use -- because the other meaning of perverse would actually be salient in that context, and I don't think you are. Perverse, that is. As in, practicing perversities.

I wouldn't have taken it that way. I've always understood perverse/perversity to tend towards contrary/contrariness and the other as perverted/perversion. Though the dictionary has it both ways, but then, dictionaries are descriptive rather than prescriptive. Which is sometimes annoying.
