  3. If you wake up at 4:30AM, don't get up.
  4. If you do get up, stay up, don't go back to bed and sleep all morning/afternoon.

Needless to say, I failed to do all these things today. (sigh)

Oh, poor soul. May I suggest drinking lemon balm tea before you go to bed?. (Unless you take hypothyroidism medication, in which case lemon balm is a no-no). A lovely way to drink it is with warm milk and honey, but a simple infusion will do.

Warm milk is a good thing. There are trials testing Lemmon balm (Melissa officinalis) effects on anxiety and insomnia. Most of them show a positive reaction to patients.
