I would like someone to write a Doctor Who story to explain why HTTP_REFERER is not HTTP_REFERRER in the HTTP standard. I'd like a little fantasy to explain all those years of frustration with the misspelling that made it into the standard...

Ooh! I've been looking for a good excuse to write some Doctor Who fic. Lemme see what I can come up with. It'll probably be short, though. :)
