Transmission timed out

kerravonsenwww.katspace.org appears to be down! I have no idea what's wrong, my machine seemed fine when I left this morning. And I won't be able to do anything about it until I get home. NOW I realize why people were telling me I was mad to run everything from my own machine at home. Oh well. Nothing I can do about it now.
ETA (19:09): well, back online now. Not sure exactly what happened... from the logs it looks as if I lost the ADSL connection at about 8:45 this morning, but even though it apparently came back up again, nothing was talking to the outside world, even though my machine was still up and perfectly okay. But even though the ADSL modem said that it was connected, I couldn't ping out or get anything out... so I restarted a few services, but that didn't seem to help, so I rebooted my PC but that didn't help either. Then I rebooted the modem, and after waiting around a bit for it to reconnect, that seemed to work. (shrug)
If this happens every time I lose a connection... I don't want to think about it.
