This was the fourth or fifth attempt at this how-to video, I kept on making mistakes. But I was stubborn and determined and stayed up until... the early hours of the morning. But it is done!

How cool a tool is that! Though I have to admit, when you brought out that last one -- the bastardized fork -- all I could think of was the dinglehopper :)

(grin) The fork was my very first lucet; I wanted to try out the craft to see if I liked it, before I spent money on a proper lucet. The fork is a pretty crappy lucet, but it still does the job. I think I kept it for nostalgic reasons. Mind you, once I had the notion that one could make one's own lucet, I kept on trying out new designs, as my understanding grew. There was the aluminium one -- that was the silver and black one on the film -- which I'm sort of surprised that I kept, because the prongs are too thin, though the handle is nice to hold. There was one I made by glueing two small pipes to a central handle -- that solved the "prongs are too thin" problem, but it was too wide, and I threw it out. The copper-and-leather one was the peak; I stopped after that, because it was Just Right; the perfect size for me, and it looked very cool. That one and the brown plastic one are my favourites.

Ooooh! This is fantastic! I have never heard of a lucet and I have never seen anything similar here. Wow, you are GOOD! Great video!!!
