This Little Piggy Stayed Home
Nov. 25th, 2003 07:52 pmWell, I saw my doctor again today, and he is puzzled. Or maybe I should say he continues to be puzzled. Even though my symptoms are like plantar fasciitis, what with pinpointing the exact place where my heel hurts the most, it is very strange that it came on suddenly and acutely like it did. Now I'm starting to wonder if I just didn't notice...? On the other hand, I did mention this time that I have been suffering from... fatigue for a couple of months after I got the flu. I was assuming that maybe the fatigue was a contributor to the situation -- tiredness makes one vulnerable after all -- but another possibility -- which caused my doctor to order another blood test and a urine sample -- could be that the fatigue is an indicator of something else wrong, maybe an infection of some sort. I am also to have an x-ray and ultrasound done to the offending foot (maybe tomorrow or the day after); that should give more data about the physical state of my foot, more than just poking it can give. But anyway, he is puzzled because it isn't improving like he'd hoped. I'm off work for another week (though my project leader is emailing me work to do -- ah the joys of the internet).
However it is nice to have it all in the doctor's hands and out of mine. I was worrying myself too much over the weekend, driving my mother nuts.

No, you're anonymous because you aren't a LiveJournal user. You can become a LiveJournal user by being invited, or by buying an account.
Hmmm, if you've got a screen with a 1" border around it, I wouldn't exactly call that success... I suggest task #3 anyway.
My current immobility doesn't really let me do "something creative" because I'm actually supposed to be doing work for Work on my laptop, when I'm not hobbling or resting. Me finally admitting me very tired.
