Etsy Shop Name

Someone pointed out to me that "Handmade By KJA" sounds like a corporation, and suggested "Handmade By Kathryn" as an alternative. Unfortunately, that name is already taken. Indeed, many, many names (and variants thereof) are already taken for Etsy stores, because they never allow names to be reused, even if they are no longer active.

So, I've been checking possible names, and here are some which are available... for the moment. I've made a poll, to see what y'all think of them.

You know why I voted for "Imaginary Cheese"? Because it's funny, memorable, and suggests that this will be a shop full of uncommon and interesting things made by a person with a delightful sense of humour. :)

(grin) You have a point. The thing that concerns me about "Imaginary Cheese" is that it might be considered too frivolous.
And I would have to design a logo that evokes "imaginary cheese"... though that is more in terms of a challenge than a problem. 8-) Indeed, now that I think about it, it's rather a plus, since none of the other names even made me wonder about logos for them...

Hmm, I could see a logo for that of a thought/dream bubble containing a triangular segment of swiss cheese...

Well, I tried various things for Imaginary Cheese and I hated them all. 8-(
I like the one I've just finished designing for "Essence of Eclectic" much better. Post coming soon.

I think my favourite is Diverse Devisings. I also like Essence of Eclectic. Artisan of Awesome might sound too much like boasting, even though I'm sure it's true.

I;m not at all sure what to make of Imaginary Cheese.

I'm finding that "Diverse Devisings" is a bit too much like a tongue-twister for me!

"Imaginary Cheese" is for FUN. Because cheese is delicious. (grin)

I like "Imaginary Cheese", but also the first one seems a little more business-like. Maybe it could be a subtitle like--"Imaginary Cheese: Handmade by KJA"

(Or any of the others at the front, really. I do like "Diverse Devisings", but the cheese one is fun and funky.

Yeah, but the original objection was that it was too business-like, in a way.

I did too, but now I'm finding it has me a bit tongue-tied. I have to stop myself from saying "Devious Devisings", which may be easier to say, but not something to give a good impression!
