I liked the way that there were a lot of emotional resolutions in this.

I found Ron & Hermione unconvincing, but then I always did. I'm afraid this didn't change my mind. I loved Harry & Ginny, though.

I bought the ebook the day it came out. I liked Scorpius and Albus too. And I liked the fact that my theory about married wizarding community women was wrong, or at least that there have been changes since I read the original novels. Nice to know they aren't *all* housewives(or tortured Aurors). There, that's not a spoiler, is it? Anyone who wants to know what I mean by that will have to read it. Or maybe see it. Think it will ever get to Australia? Maybe. After all, The Mousetrap got here, finally. I just hope it doesn't take as long!

Dunno. Think they will make it a movie? Though with Alan Rickman gone... I don't think it would be worth it.

Probably not a movie. They have another four Fantastic Beasts movies to go and if I were JKR I'd be focussing on those. But some Americans are hoping for a Broadway production and if that happens, maybe we'll get it here.

I thought it was really badly written - how did Rowling want her name on it? Here's my amazon review (no real spoilers):

Apparently this was great on stage, but Rowling (or whoever wrote it) doesn't know how to write plays (directions like "their minds are in hell" don't belong in scripts), nor can she punctuate. This can't have been edited; I didn't notice any such errors in her books, which I loved.

The plot was disjointed - how did Harry know Delphi's name? - and the characters apart from Albus and Scorpius were badly drawn. I couldn't see Ron or Hermione in their adult versions. I did rather love Scorpius though; his dialogue was witty and funny, but the scenes without the boys were awfully flat.

Indeed, certain time-related SFX parts would work in a movie, but not in a play.

Agreed. But I did like Harry and Ginny, I think they worked. Because this Ginny sees past the "Boy Who Lived" facade and loves the quiet hero underneath.

She was, but IIRC Harry only ran into her on the stairs afterwards.

I know people who saw the play and loved it so the SFX must have been amazing and of course the performances too. Scorpius and Albus stand out as well written, perhaps because they're OCs, and I'd like to read fanfic with them, esp Scorpius who was a wonderful character.
