1. Leave me a comment saying, 'Interview me'.
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. Include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

[livejournal.com profile] hawkeye7 asked me:

(1) How do you handle writing stories with word limits and/or time limits?

Much easier when I have a laptop (which I don't at the moment).
Er, keep plugging away?

(2) What stories are you working on at the moment?

I'm still trying to think of a plot idea for my Multiverse 2005 story.

Then I have a longstanding appointment to write more of "Passing Fair", even though I don't have a clue what happens next...

Then I have a large number of things on back burners, which rather rotate in my interest -- and more things get added, as short things I've written for ficathons and challenges also cry out for sequels. Even if I didn't have another new idea for the rest of my life, I probably wouldn't have time to finish all the old ideas, so I try not to think about it.

The ones at the front of the queue at the moment are:
- half an idea for a Tomorrow People/Stargate crossover; I have a full background, I just don't have a plot
- a Stargate/Highlander crossover, which maybe I'll re-persuade [livejournal.com profile] reveilles to co-write with me

(3) Do you still do illustrations?

I'd like to, but it never seems to get a high enough priority lately.
The closest I've come is doing some photomanips -- they take less time (or give the illusion of taking less time; one can still spend hours messing with them).

(4) What kind of fictional characters hold the most appeal for you?

Um. Ones like Avon, Miles, Charis, Giles, Oliver, The Doctor, Daav, Aelliana, Ariantes, Elizabeth, Deth, McQueen, Methos, Aragorn, Sam, Elana, Puddleglum, Reepicheep, Damien, Gerald...

(5) Is there anyone on your friends list whom you have not met but would like to meet?

All of them? I mean, all the ones I haven't met, I would like to. Not very feasible, though.

The most feasible would be [livejournal.com profile] drednort seeing as he lives in the same city as me; but the one time we almost met, a bunch of us had arranged to meet at a place, on a Saturday... which wasn't open on weekends. We must try again sometime.

Oooh, me, me!

I always volunteer for these things. :) Um, might be a while before I have time to answer, though.

Sime time? Is that different from Gen time?

Oh, go on then:)

(Know what you mean by photomanips, BTW. Have you got into 3D modelling yet? Now there's a way to *really* waste the hours...)

Interesting selection. I'll have to give them some thought before I answer.
