I got a parcel! From mistraltoes! How did you know I like candy corn? (Not that I would probably like it as much if we could actually get it here, but it has nostalgia and rarity value added). I have put them in a tin, so as to reduce the likelihood of me eating them all at once.

I was rather amused to see that it says on the packet "made with real honey", when, if you look at the actual ingredients, honey is listed third-last, after "salt". Yep, that's a whole lot of honey, ma'am. 8-P
It seems to be mostly sugar and corn syrup. Which is kinda appropriate for candy corn.

Oh yes, it really was just a pick-up-the-spirits thing, it's just that I'd coincidentally bought it well before your birthday, and if I'd thought about the fact that your birthday was coming up, I'd have looked harder for an envelope to send it in. As is was, it sat around here for a month. But the thing itself was just a whim.
