Okay, so now two of you have done this meme, I might as well too.

If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or NaNoWriMo or what have you, post exactly one sentence from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favourite or most intriguing sentence so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion. Mention the title (and genre) if you like, but don't mention anything else. This is merely to whet the general appetite for your forthcoming work(s).

Well, I'm not sure how soon they'll be forthcoming, but I might as well dangle a bit of top three on the list in front of you. I'm not going to say what the titles or universes are either (one reason being that only one of them has a title anyway...) However, some of you will be able to guess anyway.

His name meant Speaks-to-Trees, and his mind was like clear water. He found her the day she made the wind sing.

He gave her a wry smile. "What makes you think I would *want* to leave? It's not as if there's anything in particular to go *back* for, is there?"
