Summary:Nothing out of the ordinary ever happened to David Harper. Until he died and awoke as Severus Snape.
So many good things in this: the way Snape's personality shows even as he has no memory of his old life; the reaction of someone who doesn't believe in magic to waking up as a magical portrait; the way that David desperately doesn't want to be there, because he wants his old life back; his growing friendship with Headmistress Hermione; and his reaction when a piece of his past comes to Hogwarts. Really very good.
