Sore Gating
Oct. 26th, 2004 09:04 amI'd rather disliked "Cold Lazarus" the first time around, because fans had overhyped it, and I didn't think it was that great, but this time around I was appreciating what a good actor Richard Dean Anderson is, and also how it must have been more tense seeing it unspoilered, since one didn't know what the agenda of the alien was...
I'm wondering now if I had actually missed out on seeing "Bloodlines" the first time around and forgotten, because there were a lot of things about it I didn't remember. And I surely would have remembered Daniel's... violent action if I'd seen the episode before -- that was a very telling character moment.
The other nice thing about re-seeing these episodes was the fresh and new reactions of Our Heros, like their reaction to Kendra in "Thor's Hammer".

I'd rather not tell you what it's about - it's more fun to let the first episode tell you. I knew nothing and was pleasently surprised as I'd assumed a really bad premise and discovered a more plausible one.
