Torchwood Radio Play: Asylum

Well, I've listened to the first radio play. And it was good.
PC Andy! He was well done, I think, though some might think he was inconsistent, in that when he's first told that the girl is an alien, he's all "Hostile aliens! Invaders!" and then he turns around and becomes all sympathetic to her... but I think that's not bad, really, since he'd started off sympathetic to her, and it's reasonably plausible that he'd react badly to the idea that she's an alien, but then he realizes that, half-alien or not, she's just a kid, and she needs help.
Go Andy!
He'll be getting retcon, no doubt.
I loved the way the girl was portrayed, her fragmentary memories, and the bit at the end, about the running water, which was almost poetic.
I also liked the way that things were slowly revealed; that we hear the word "ghosties" but don't know what it means yet, and then we find out...
And here, we have foreshadowing for "Children of Earth"; Aliens! Hybrid Aliens! And timey-wimey stuff; why did "Torchwood" rescue her in the future? (It was probably Jack)
So, we shall see how the next one goes...
