Bones: The Woman at the Airport
May. 30th, 2009 09:30 pmOn with the show.
So, this one pokes fun (and other things) at the LA scene.
I found it interesting that when Brennan was passionately ranting about murder being an erasure of someone's identity, and she pauses, searching for the right word
"I find it..."
"Evil?" Booth interjects.
"Unacceptable," Brennan says.
I think that's very telling about both of them; their world-views. Booth, being Catholic, does believe in evil; Brennan, being an atheist, doesn't.
Oh, but I love how passionate Brennan gets when she's found something not-right. And her passion about the uniqueness of human beings, and how plastic surgery destroys that.
"If you touch her, she'll break your arm," said Booth. "She happens to think that what you do is-"
"Barbaric," Brennan said.
The whole thing with the producer - ha! So flaky. Poor Brennan thinks it's a business meeting, and it turns out to be an interview. (rolls eyes) I don't think much of the competence of Brennan's agent; talk about communications breakdown... Oh well.
Interesting how Booth got angry at the local FBI agent; how passionate he was about "his FBI".
And then we have the thing with the boss-man and the bug-man back at the Institute. Thinking versus Feeling, yes. Anita again trying to mediate. The bug-man being an ass, the boss-man being... less of an ass.
I'm glad it worked out in the end.
I love these characters.
