It's funny, that Firefly is so much more obviously a Space Western than the Original Trek was, but that was how Roddenbury pitched it to the studios: "A wagon-train to the stars!"

I've only just started watching Firefly but I wish it was less westerny. I don't much care for Westerns but i like it anyway.
