No, he recruited people. I don't know who else he asked, but I got a "do you want to participate?" email via the Spooky Men's mailing list. So I knew when it was happening, but then I forgot all about it.

Yes, and very yes -- Stephen Taberner is the founder, he started the Spooky Men's Chorale (and has written quite a bit of their music). He seems to like starting choirs; I think he was one of the chief people in The Australian Millenium Chorus also.

Don't think I could have participated, he was calling for choirs. But it would have been cool to have seen it. I didn't recognise all the places they went to, but one of them was definitely the steps of the Building Formerly Known As The GPO, which is only a few blocks away from where I work.

Oh well. At least I got to see the video.

All I can say is, things are going to be lots more complex from now on. The several governments still have to manage the same economic balance, but now they really have to factor in water supplies, climate change, fuel prices, and the US dollar. All at once.

I'm getting The Age again. I owe it to my country to stay on top of the details. Time to get over the war in Iraq, educational about the USA as all those blogs have been.

That was cool! You certainly got Dick and Chesterton there; it is interesting how they are similar but opposite, in that they both see the world as absurd, but Dick sees it as a nightmare, and Chesterton sees it as a delight. And Krazy Kat is an example of just such an absurdity.

I'm surprised nobody in that thread commented further. Or perhaps you're the victim of timezone lag.
