I must say, having never seen even one episode of Ten, that is still hysterical. And the best explanation for the Doctor's behaviour I have seen. But it's more important that it's hysterical.

It just goes to show how good it must have been to still merit carzy fans and the fact that just about every sci-fi fan knows it (exept me it seems) :)

Yeah I know. It kind of set the stage for the rest of the scifi community.

You know, it astonishes me that things like "it's not all about Martha, or all about Rose" even need to be said. Anybody who can look at the Doctor and see a man who is primarily motivated by romantic infatuation is clearly not watching the same program I am.

It's interesting how many different things that ep. seems to remind people of... Me, I was having massive deja vu for "Planet of Evil."

Would it help if I told you Kirk is a male chauvanist pig and the SFX aren't up to '80's standards.

Honestly? I think Doctor Who was better at the time, but it was also in black and white, so that probably helps. ;)

Might not be a bad idea.

That way no one will think you're weird when you laugh at the special effects either. :)

*g* Yes, but we are talking about a fandom best known for convincing Whoopie Goldberg she could be anything she wanted to be. And that MLK begged Nichelle Nichols (Lt. Uhura) to stay on the show. :)
