Thing is, while, yes, I wouldn't argue that I'm organized and logical and practical/pragmatic, I'm not so certain that I "focus on details until they manifest themselves in a unique pattern and only then work with the larger whole." That seems to be saying (in Meyers-Brigs terms) that I'm Sensory rather than Intuitive.

And I don't really get what it means by the last sentence. I'm fighting myself? Huh? I'm in a continuous state of uncertainty and agitation? Huh?

That doesn't seem to fit me at all.

Not sensory vs. intuitive so much as detail-oriented vs. whole-pattern oriented. And you are fairly detail oriented; you couldn't be really good at art and programming if you weren't, I don't suppose.

Curious. I've just gone back and done it again; it gave me a different set of questions, some of which made no sense to me, and I came out with an answer very like yours. Perhaps some of the questions are more finely tuned than others.

True. I don't think of myself as detail-oriented, but I'm certainly pedantic, which could be said to be one aspect of being detail-oriented.
